Nancy G. Mentele

Nancy G. Mentele, age 65, of Mitchell, died Friday, August 16, 2019, at her residence in Mitchell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Monday, August 19, 2019, at the Epiphany Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 PM, Sunday, with a scripture wake service and rosary at 4 at the church.

Nancy was born on June 1st, 1954 in Sioux Falls SD to Francis and Bessie (Skinner) Foos. On May 17th 1974, she was united in marriage to the late William (Bill) Mentele and from this union they were blessed with seven children.

Nancy's pride and joy was first and foremost her family. Her grandchildren meant the world to her, and she found great joy in spending every moment she could in their presence. The wisdom and love she showered upon them will remain in her their hearts forever. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and loving spirit.

Nancy leaves to cherish her loving memory, her children: Robert(Belen) Foos, Susan(Tony) Chambers, Kelli(Tom) Kommes, Sarah Mentele, LeAnn(Sean) Hughes, Kimberly(Stephen) Moschell, Allyssa(Brent) Hoffer:  21 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, her siblings: Kay(Roger) Harms, Curt Foos, Steven Foos: and  several nieces, nephews, and friends she considered family.

She is proceeded in death by her husband William (Bill) Mentele, her mother and father, and three brothers.
