Larry L. Levering

Larry L. Levering, age 78, of Omaha, NE, died Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, December 7, 2020, at Graceland Cemetery in Howard.

Larry Lamar McMahan born June 4, 1942, Matedor, Texas to J.C. McMahan and Mary Gaines McMahan. J. C. McMahan was Killed in WWll in Belgium when Larry was just 2 Years Old. Mary Gaines than married Douglas Levering in April of 1945 and Larry became his adopted Son. Connie Pearl Schneider and Larry met in South Dakota while Connie was attending nursing School, and they were married in Biloxi, MS January of 1960. Larry served in the Vietnam war where he was involved in a accident causing a brain Injury,  which Larry lived with the entirety of his life. After returning from war Larry and Connie lived in Sioux City and Texas, spending most of their time in Corpus Christi.

Larry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Connie Pearl Levering, Sons Terry (Amy), Daniel (Dana), Grandson Jay(Michele), Great Grandson, Cooper Leo, Step-grandchildren Mark Hill (Denae),and Kelley Hill (Alyssa), Hailey, Alexandria, Finnegan and Jacob, Sister Linda Foland (Michael), Brothers, Gary Levering and Rick Levering (Connie).

Military Honors will be livestreamed through the Bethany Funeral Home in La Vista, NE, on their Facebook page Friday at 3:00 p.m.
