Janeane L. Henn

Janeane L. Henn, age 73, of Carthage, died Saturday, February 27, 2021, at her residence. Memorial services will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carthage. Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Tuesday, at the church.

Janeane Linnae Henn was born on October 14, 1947 in Mitchell, SD to Margery and Leland Baldwin. Janeane graduated high school in Custer in 1965 and graduated college from Black Hills State with a degree in education. Janeane was married on August 20, 1967 to Todd Jacobson and moved to Jacksonville, FL. After Florida they moved back to Custer and were divorced in 1982. Janeane was remarried to Richard Henn on June 14, 1986, and the family moved to their current home in Carthage, SD. Janeane was a teacher in Howard teaching young elementary for the majority of her career.

Janeane is survived by her mother Marge, her husband Richard, her three children Janalene, Travis and his wife Lanna and Tristan, four grandchildren Jaiden, Maya, Trynden and Lailyn, her brother John and her sister Carmen.

She is preceded in death by her father Leland, her sister Corliss, and her brother Chuck.
