Florence enjoyed taking trips back to the Hillside area and reminiscing about fond childhood memories of St. Johns Lutheran Church, the playhouse under the trees, walking to the country store for candy, and walking two miles to school every day. Florence enjoyed gardening, baking, canning, and making many Christmas ornaments for her grandchildren. Family was of the utmost importance to her. Florence always made sure the needs of others were met before her own, this showed her true life trait of being humble and practicing humility.
