Martha Fay Krueger, 78, of Howard, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at the Dougherty Hospice House, Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be 11am, Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the Beach United Methodist Church, Howard with burial to follow in Graceland Cemetery, Howard. Visitation with family present will be Monday at the Willoughby Funeral Home, Howard from 5pm to 7pm. Martha Fay Voeltz was born February 19, 1940, in Miner County, South Dakota to Frank and Millie (Dorris) Voeltz. Martha Fay grew up in the Howard area where she attended and graduated from Howard High School in 1958. Martha Fay worked at the first Hydroponic Tomato green house in South Dakota. She worked there for several years before returning to Howard and worked for Henry Loe at Howard Green House, later working at Cozy Café. Martha Fay then started selling Avon Cosmetics for twenty-five years, while she also worked for the Wrap-it Corp. now called PBM. Martha Fay was united in marriage to Willard “Bill” Krueger on Mary 10, 1975 at the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Howard. Martha Fay enjoyed bowling, baking, gardening, crocheting, but what she especially enjoyed were visits from her daughters and the special love for the grandchildren. Those grateful for having shared in her life include her four daughters: Vicky Lynn (Mark) Hakeneis of Fulda, MN; Vanessa Fae (Myron) Heupel of Billings, MT; Rachael (Aaron) Neiman of Brandon, SD; Morgan (James) Huber of Alexandria, SD; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; her siblings Franklin (Roxanne) Voeltz of Austin, MN; Marvin (Shirley) Voeltz of Madison, SD; Karl (Karen) Voeltz of Canistota, SD; Mary Ann (Phillip) Kester of Beresford, SD; Raymond Voeltz of Biloxi, MS; Lisa Jo (Curtis) Brinkman of Maryland Hgts, MO; Tony (Tonette) Voeltz of Marion, SD; numerous niece and nephews, other relatives and friends. Martha Fay was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill (2015), a grandson Kristopher Elliott, a brother Donnie Voeltz and a sister Lois Jane Matson.
