I am the lucky one that got to go through 12 years of school with Lorraine.  I also was the lucky one that she shared her blue jeans with (once in awhile) because I did not have one and she was lucky to own a pair.  Once she and Bob started dating, she of course spent time with him, and then I left for California, so, we lost that closeness at that time.   We always have had a close relationship with the Palmer family, starting with my Mother who worked for Mrs. Palmer caring for Gene Bruce, Jack, going back a few years. May she rest in peace.

To Lorraine's Family,
I'm saddened to hear of Lorraine's passing, and will miss her very much.  She (and Bob) are among our many happy memorials of coming home to Canova -- the CC church, the baseball games, and gatherings in the community.  My deepest sympathy to you and all of the family, from one of her many friends.  
With love, Dana Shaw (wife of Dennis, who passed away in 2010)  I plan to visit Canova again this fall, and will be thinking of her when I come.

Our prayers and sincere sympathy to Lorraine's family. She was a beautiful lady inside and out! I am so glad to have known her and glad she was such a good friend to Mae! She will be missed and missed at all the ball games!
